About Joya Care
A telehealth wellness practice built on unhurried visits, honest conversations, and evidence-based care.
Our founder
Jesselyn Joy Walter is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Joya Care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA and started the practice to offer the kind of care she believes in: enough time to listen, clear explanations, and options presented without pressure.
Her practice focuses on wellness services that are often hard to access in a traditional clinic, including weight management, thyroid support, peptide therapy education, and perimenopausal and menopausal care, delivered through secure telehealth.
Our philosophy
- Time to listen. Telehealth visits designed to be unhurried, so your concerns are actually heard.
- Honest guidance. If a treatment isn't right for you, we'll say so. We don't sell. We advise.
- Evidence first. Treatment options are grounded in current evidence and state and federal law, including legal-only peptide protocols.
- Straightforward pricing. A cash-pay model, with costs explained before anything is ordered or prescribed, so there are no surprises.
Where we operate
Telehealth rules depend on where you are located, not where we are. Joya Care is completing the final steps to serve patients located in Arizona, and appointments are expected to open within the next couple of months. If you're located elsewhere, reach out and we'll let you know when we can serve you.
A note on what we don't do
We don't promise outcomes, because honest medicine can't. Every body responds differently. What we can promise is a thoughtful evaluation, a clear explanation of your options, and careful follow-up. For details, please read ourmedical disclaimer.
